Note: the following information is for the SIC1 console. It does not pertain to the SIC2 console.
When to change the console batteries:
When the batteries for the console need to be replaced or recharged, the "CNSL" low battery warnings shown will appear in the message banner.
Requirements:
3 C standard alkaline batteries.
How to change the console batteries:
Unscrew the battery cover screw knob (tools may be required if the cover screw has been replaced by a security bolt) to remove the console from the mounting position.
- Remove the existing 3 C batteries and replace all 3 with new C cell alkaline batteries.
When inserting the new batteries, note the orientation as illustrated inside the battery compartment to ensure that all three batteries are oriented properly.
- Return the console to the mounting position and re-install the battery cover screw.
Note: For the Stages Indoor Cycling EcoSCRN console, the battery pack is self-generating and charges while the bike is being pedaled and should only require the bike to be used to regenerate the battery. If you are experiencing issues with this console's power supply, please contact customer support by submitting a new ticket.
