How to perform a power meter zero reset using the StagesPower app from Stages Indoor Cycling on YouTube.
To perform a power meter zero reset using the StagesPower app:
- Rotate the crank several times to wake up the Stages Power meter.
Launch the StagesPower app on your mobile device.
For Android devices, proceed to the next step.
For iOS devices, tap on CONNECT WITH BLUETOOTH.A list of available devices will be displayed.
Locate the ANT+ ID number on the power meter on the left crank of the bike.
Power meters will only be visible on this list if they are not connected to a Bluetooth-enabled Stages Indoor ConsoleTap on the ANT+ ID that matches the power meter to select it.
Tap on CONNECT.
- Place the crank arm in the vertical/6 o'clock position with no weight on the pedal, then tap the ZERO RESET button.
- Upon completion, the crank will return an ADC value and temperature reading. The ADC value should be between 790-990.
If you do not see a value returned within 30 seconds, hit the back arrow in the top left corner and attempt to zero reset again. If the crank no longer displays "Connected" at the top of the screen, you may need to rotate the crank and reconnect to the app, as the power meter will enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
If the ADC is not between 790-990, please start a support ticket.
