To drop an FTP test into a class plan that has already started:
- Click on the LIGHTNING BOLT to start an FTP test.
- Select the length of the FTP test to add to class: 1, 3, or 5-minute.
- After the FTP test, the FTP results will display on the screen.
- The class plan will resume. Be sure that you coach a recovery for the riders as the class plan continues. Note: Using this feature will override part of the class plan when you add the FTP test. In other words, if you have a 7-minute warm-up planned, but decide to drop in a 1-minute FTP test with a 2-minute recovery during the last part of your warm-up, it will take up 3 minutes of your 7 minutes. To plan for this scenario, build in a long warm-up section and skip to the next interval when the riders have recovered.
