Are you receiving an error message on your tablet when trying to connect the Stages Flight Control app to the Stages Flight system?
The Stages Flight group display system and the device running the Stages Flight Control app must be on the same network in order to communicate. Check the network connections on both systems to be sure that they are on the same network.
Follow these steps to connect the Stages Flight Control app to the Stages Flight system:
- With Stages Flight open, the group display must show the Waiting for connection screen, in order to connect to the tablet with the Stages Flight Control app.
- If the Waiting for connection screen does not automatically pop up when the Stages Flight system is launched, and you are seeing the Stages Flight Control instructor panel on the screen, click on Remote to get back to the Waiting for connection screen. Skip to step #7.
- If you are seeing the Stages Flight group display screen, use your keyboard to navigate to the Stages Flight instructor panel.
- Using your keyboard, toggle between the screens on the display by holding down the alt key and clicking on the tab key.
- When the Stages Flight instructor panel is highlighted, release the keys to select it.
- Click on Remote to get back to the Waiting for connection screen.
- When the Waiting for connection screen is displayed on the group display, Stages Flight is ready to connect to the Stages Flight Control app.
- Close and restart the Stages Flight Control app on the tablet. When the location page appears, click on your location to select it.
- Enter your pin, then click on Connect.
