For the optimal user experience, the Solo tablet should always be connected to the internet. Without internet connectivity users cannot log in to their account and save or export their ride data. In addition, regular updates to content and software, including security patches, will not happen.
An exception can be made for military installations or heightened security environments where it is prohibited for users to save their data while onsite. It is possible for the Solo administrator to connect to the internet on a scheduled basis to retrieve new downloads and software updates. When choosing this option, the limitations imposed on the product and the impact it has on the user experience need to be fully understood.
